Kevin Hart is on his ‘Jumanji’ promo tour — and you already know at this point it’s impossible for him to do an interview without being asked about that messy sex tape scandal involving women other than his wife.
“It’s beyond irresponsible,” Hart said around the 1:18 mark in the video up top, when asked about this year’s headline-snatching infidelity. “If you wanna get to it, Charlamagne, then I’m gonna let you get what you want. Now, there’s no way around it. There’s best way to do is just address it right on. You gotta fucking just say exactly what it is. That’s Kevin Hart in his dumbest moment. That’s not the finest hour of my life. With that being said, you make your bed, you lay in it. So you can’t even say ‘What were you thinking?’ Because you weren’t thinking.”
As with all fuck-ups, Hart said, this was apparently not planned. “You don’t plan to fuck up,” Hart said. “You fuck up and then you go, ‘Oh shit, I fucked up.’” For Hart, the key is to just hang out in front of that fuck-up and claim it. “I rightfully stand in front of my fuck-up, hands in the air, I’m guilty,” he said. “Regardless of how it happened and what was involved and shit that I can’t talk about, I’m guilty. I’m wrong.”
Kevin was definitely in the wrong, but at least he’s taking responsibility.
